Order custom caricature work of your own... a caricature yourself, family members, friends, co-workers or employees...

You may buy all rights or one-time usage rights to any caricature appearing on this site, other than client work.

Working Within Budget Restrictions

For many years I offered fixed prices for caricatures, but over 80% of the work I do start with people wanting specific quotes. The reason for this is that many have budgets for their projects and they need me to work within them.

I always come up with quality caricatures no matter what budget restraints I'm under. If your project is important but strictly budgeted, you can expect me to offer a quote that is not going to put you over.

Usually I can establish a quote within 2 days or sooner and, normally, I get on a new project right away. What's more, when I give you a quote, it is firm - I do not change it.

Custom Caricature Rights

When I draw your custom caricature, you receive full rights to the artwork in its finished and accepted form, once the balance is paid in full.

Making Payments On Orders

When you agree to my quote for your artwork, you may pay me by PayPal using this email address: emersonstudios1@juno.com. Alternatively, you may request me to set up a payment page to PayPal for credit card payments. You don't need to set up a PayPal account to pay me this way.

I ask that half my quoted price be paid with your order. The balance is due when you have approved the final version of the artwork. You may also pay the entire price upfront, if you wish.

Release of Rights and Final Images

I can not release final images until full payment is received. I also retain copyright on all images until full payment is received. Full payment received means the copyright (all rights) for the work I did goes to the client. If paying me by check, the check must clear before the final images and copyright are released.

Additional Charges

Additional charges for caricature work pertain only if I am asked to perform more than 3 revisions on the project artwork. A fourth revision to a $125 caricature, for example, is $45. For every revision after the fourth, a $25 charge is applied. The lower the price of the caricature, the lower the revision charges. The good news is that I rarely have to apply revision charges to a caricature project, as I usually get the job right within 4 revisions.

Order Caricature Reprint Rights

All Rights

You may buy all rights to any caricature appearing on this site. If all rights are purchased, that version of the caricature now belongs to you to use in whatever way you see fit. I reserve the right to post another caricature of that same person, however, but it will be a totally new drawing. I have a flat fee of $125 per caricature drawing for the purchase of all rights. One Time Use

You may also wish to buy one time usage rights for a caricature. The fee for this is often much lower, as I can sell one time usage rights as many times as I wish for a given caricature drawing. One time usage rights are worked out with you and depends on the project for which you need the caricature. Contact me to establish a one time usage rights fee using this form.
